I am an award winning STEM ambassador and a trustee for the Fordley Plants
My STEM Work
In 2021 I was awarded a North East STEM Award. I have been privileged to be part of the STEM Ambassador program since 2017, volunteering at events, taking part in careers talks and “going digital” during COVID19 to provide activities to encourage children and young people to continue their STEM education.
The Fordley Planta
The Friends of Fordley ‘Planta’ is a community group set up to improve, protect and preserve the area known as ‘The Planta’ for the benefit of the public. The group acknowledges this area is identified by North Tyneside Council as ‘Fordley Marsh’.
